Become a member of FoodTech
FoodTech is an industry development initiative of the Victorian Government, the Australian Institute for Commercialisation, IXC Australia Limited (InnovationXchange Network) and Food Science Australia. FoodTech invites you to join the FoodTech Membership Program. There are two membership options - each providing a range of benefits.
Participating Members commit to actively participate in and contribute to the FoodTech Program. To become a Participating Member, you:
- nominate a primary contact person for your business
- provide FoodTech with sufficient information about your company to allow the FoodTech team to provide you with options for how the program could benefit your business (see membership application form)
- join our mailing and email contact list
- provide feedback at the end of the program for evaluation purposes
- receive advance invitations to FoodTech events
- work with us to identify project areas of particular interest to your business.
Benefits of Participating Membership are:
- continuing communication about the program and its activities
- news on trends and advances in food processing
- initial support from the FoodTech team to identify product and process innovation opportunities (at no charge)
- the opportunities to move up to Project Membership once appropriate opportunity areas have been identified
- assistance with referrals to other providers, as appropriate
- there is no cost to join as a Participating Member.
Project Members will be actively working on a project with FoodTech.
Benefits of Project Membership are:
- opportunity to participate in the Australian Institute for Commercialisation's TechFast industry support program to help with the identification, evaluation and integration of new and improved products and processes into your business
- potential to initiate an introductory membership of IXC Australia Limited to assist in identifying collaborative opportunities to solve problems or to create new opportunities for your products, capabilities and expertise
- development of a project proposal with Food Science Australia
- Project Members can also receive assistance from the providers in developing a business case for projects and applying for grant funds from a range of funding providers, where appropriate.
Once project opportunities have been identified, the FoodTech team assists clients to select the services they need and to put in place appropriate agreements.
If you would like to join the FoodTech Program, please complete the membership form and return it to the FoodTech team.
