What is FoodTech?

The Food SME Technology Transfer Program (FoodTech) is a new government-funded program helping Victorian small to medium sized food companies (SMEs) and regionally-based food manufacturers access technology that can help capture market opportunities. It provides a single, integrated, collaborative access point to deliver technology transfer services from a range of sources to Victorian food companies.

How can it help me?

If you are a small to medium sized food company (SME) or a regionally based food manufacturer, the new FoodTech Program could help you access technology to drive your innovation, growth and competitiveness.

What do I have to do?

Simply contact program staff. At no cost to you, our staff will help you engage with various technology transfer activities, depending on your business's needs and opportunities.

A higher level of engagement may be suitable for some companies, which may involve access to Australian Institute for Commercialisation's TechFast industry development program or to IXC Australia's confidential intermediary service.
